I spoke with several of the teams that made it to the final round– mostly curious about how the most successful teams accomplished so much so quickly. They weren’t afraid to say what they were good at, “Oh, when I worked for the World Bank, I used to work on this kind of stuff all the time, let me lead the analysis.”

I'm 51 and find it hard to do things like call doctors, or go to the bank, or make appts., There could be body language index cards!
I think you need to write a post about things you've done right, things you want, and how you are going to move on and accomplish them. I was thinking that even though I don’t know where my bank card is, I have the company card. Good managers will do their own recruiting by having their own great network. I think too often we are so worried about accomplishing as many tasks as we can that we don't focus enough on the task that is right in front of us. Most people get jobs from their network, not from a career center. And social media is the fastest, most effective way for you to build a network. As a Gen-Y who stopped going to college I found that real life experiences, networks and self education were more important and vital than a college education for my career track.
