Even if I manage to do that, I will not feel like I have accomplished something important today. And then, when it turns out that it really does mean sleep inducing I didn’t feel accomplished. Once you are drama free, you could actually focus on accomplishing more goals. Who puts a word like that in a picture caption?

Your other suggestions are dead accurate, especially about carrying snacks & non-electronic diversions.
Teachers like Hilary in a prior comment and engineers (like me) are (or were at some time) able to find jobs and happiness in small towns or large cities across the entire U.S. Elsewhere, I read that if you want to thank a blogger, leave a comment. Not all professions are the same. even The World) as we please.
For years I've been trying to explain to my engineer husband how the numbers literally float around the page when I look at it and I should probably not be the one doing the taxes. I think you need to write a post about things you've done right, things you want, and how you are going to move on and accomplish them. Many are engineers. Exaggeration: repeated tales of humanitarian accomplishments grow in the retelling. Memory can always be counted on to supply the new facts.
You're accomplishing herculean tasks few women ever think of attempting. Most of the aerospace and civil engineers I've worked with never had to handle childrearing or other social duties. Ask yourself if you're doing the right things to accomplish this, not whether you measure up to June Cleaver. Don't.

I think too often we are so worried about accomplishing as many tasks as we can that we don't focus enough on the task that is right in front of us. Although I have to tell you that I think it's a good title for SEO (search engine optimization). Thanks for the insight, Kerry.

Most people get jobs from their network, not from a career center. And social media is the fastest, most effective way for you to build a network. As a Gen-Y who stopped going to college I found that real life experiences, networks and self education were more important and vital than a college education for my career track.

Most people with Asperger’s, even if they are geniuses at, say, engineering (which is very common ) get in trouble mid-career for lack of social skills. Or just continue to pity them all, no matter how much they accomplish in life? Is it worth risking his life in order to have social engineering?
Here's my stance on happiness and choices: For as long as I can remember, everyone in my life has been telling me that I am wonderful and that I can do and accomplish absolutely anything I want in life. But then I'm an engineer so maybe I'm biased :-). Or you will believe you can accomplish something after you do it.
