I was thinking that even though I don’t know where my bank card is, I have the company card. Good managers will do their own recruiting by having their own great network. P.S. One of my mentors used to say "anything worth doing is worth doing 'badly'!" Finding out that there is more money in my banking account than previously thought. " It drove many of us crazy. Took me a while to realize what he meant. If you beat a baby for falling, it will never learn to walk.
Most people get jobs from their network, not from a career center. And social media is the fastest, most effective way for you to build a network. As a Gen-Y who stopped going to college I found that real life experiences, networks and self education were more important and vital than a college education for my career track.

As a mother of toddler and a holding full time job at a bank, I had a crazy life last few yrs in India managing everything and feeling guilty in every area for not being able to give 100% time. I can completly relate to this debate of happiness vs fulfillment. Life was very interesting and fulfilling but happy.not sure.
