Big firms are set up to dominate even more… I think AI tools will help firms like McKinsey, BCG, and Bain (though Bain was much later to invest in knowledge management) develop a bigger lead in management consulting. I also think you’ll see a lot of wasted effort on solutions that clients may not care about.

This was definitely one of the segments that have found value in my work but a second segment that surprised me has been small and medium-sized consulting firms ranging anywhere from 5 people to 200. If training is something you can deprioritize, your firm will struggle with developing internal capabilities.
