We overestimate the gap between nonprofit and for-profit jobs.

I'd like to add one idea from a mentor of mine, who led big organizations in both sectors. There ARE some nonprofits that are run this way (mine is!), So is prestige, career advancement, power, etc. A friend of mine is thinking of starting a for profit company that serves not for profits.
