But this is such an important part of creating a satisfying career! Professional development means advancement, learning new things and exploring new careerpaths. I participate in classes, seminars and workshops outside of working hours in order to expand my knowledge base. After all, there?s It takes real effort though.
Consider how you can actively develop a strong support network of mentors, peers, and friends to lend a hand adversity and challenge strikes. Leaders who view every experience as an opportunity for growth demonstrate a belief that there’s always room for improvement—and that lessons can be learned from every success as well as every failure.
For a student, some decisive tasks at hand would be, picking the correct careerpath, which subjects to study, which college to go to, and so on. Organizations as a whole can also participate actively in helping employees develop these skills by encouraging team activities, organizing seminars, etc.
Think of your careerpath as a question path. The Resistance is the voice that says, “No, I won’t raise my hand at the end of this seminar.” For example, I know I want to write about the farm, but I’m not sure how to do it. I am also spending time redecorating the farm house. How come EVERYONE doesn’t raise their hand?
