Not that you asked for advice, but mine is to focus not on getting him to separate from X, which is his problem, but on how you deal with having a husband who isn't separated from X (the old saw: you can't change someone else, only yourself). Because of your blog, your career, your past, whatever.
It's even scarier to be a career advisor in a financial mess. It reminds me that my career isn't the only part of my life that is important to my happiness and that I can/should focus on other parts of my life when work has me down. Also that you can have a great career or marriage but not both, because life is not fair.
