As a Gen-Y who stopped going to college I found that real life experiences, networks and self education were more important and vital than a college education for my career track.

For some reason, your voice seems to get through to her much better and smoother than mine on topics like frugality etc. : ) She totally looks up to you as a mentor! 2nd, grad school does not require loans. There are downsides to keeping ones know-it-all credentials up to date, though.
