Social Model of Disability The traditional paradigm of disability (the ‘medical model’) says that their impairments disable disabled people and they need fixing. ADHD: Innovative thinking, creativity, musical, or artistic talent, problem-solving, charm, charisma, curiosity, tenacity, resilience, energy, enthusiasm, presenters.
That is the world that would exist without criticalthinking. Criticalthinking is not well understood. People say “you go to school to learn how to think” but show no evidence that this happens. We assume criticalthinking happens at work but we can’t explain how we do it.
