Research which tools each department needs to have access to and provide them with those resources so everyone can work efficiently and stay well-versed on current trends. When necessary, pair them with another mentor who has a particular type of knowledge.

Looking at that sentence I’d be hoping for reinvigoration of early years provision, investment in schools, strengthening vocational education, rebooting apprenticeships, reinvigorating workplace training and wider adult education and of course saying something meaningful on career guidance.

Obviously, this person had some bad experiences with workplace training. And this got me thinking…There are actually a lot of misconceptions about learning in the workplace. I was SO shocked. I had never gotten a response like that. In fact, most people think my job sounds really fun, and it is!
